In doing this, we can support and care for individuals in the best and most supportive way.

All care colleagues are trained and supported to ensure residents feel valued and able to live life to the full. Ever ready to offer support to family and friends via access to information and advice, our approach respects the uniqueness of each person in all areas of day-to-day life, such as activities and meals. Layston Grove can accommodate shorter stays and respite care, in addition to permanent care. We can also support couples.

Freshly cooked menus

All our meals are cooked freshly on site, where our catering team use local produce and fresh ingredients to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for residents. Meals are nutritionally balanced and designed to meet the dietary needs each person living with us. We respect our residents’ tastes and preferences, and our residents take an active role in menu planning through our regular tasting events. Layston Grove can also support specific requirements, such as vegetarian and soft diets. Alternative meal options, drinks and snacks are always available each day.

Being active

Our team understands the importance of social interaction and support. Layston Grove offers regular trips, and we encourage visits from loved ones. Layston Grove offers engaging activities, and the happiness of our residents is our priority. Our activities aim to improve overall physical and emotional well-being and include gentle exercise, flower arranging, cinema evenings and much more. Our residents play an active part in planning activities, where we also appreciate individual past times, such as residents sharing a joke and a chat with members of our team.
